Individual Therapy
Sometimes the patterns that once protected you are the same ones now getting in your way. Maybe you're repeating the same dynamics in relationships, struggling with anxiety or depression that won't fully lift, navigating a loss or transition that feels bigger than it should, or carrying something you've never quite been able to name. Individual therapy is a space to slow down, look more closely, and begin to shift what feels stuck.
My approach to individual therapy is depth-oriented and relational. I work primarily from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks — meaning we pay attention not just to what's happening now, but to the deeper patterns, relational histories, and ways of moving through the world that shape your experience. The focus is less on symptom management and more on genuine understanding: where these patterns came from, what they've protected, and what becomes possible when they begin to shift.
This is not a protocol-driven approach. I bring genuine curiosity and direct engagement to every session, and I follow your lead on pace and direction. Some people come with a specific concern they want to address; others arrive with a vaguer sense that something needs to change. Both are good places to start.
I commonly work with adults navigating:
Relationship difficulties and attachment wounds
Anxiety, depression, and chronic stress
Life transitions (career, identity, loss, major change)
Parenting — wanting to show up differently for your kids than your parents showed up for you
Grief
Existential questions about meaning, direction, and self
Patterns rooted in family of origin
